- 1 kg tortillas
- 1 chunk of shredded meat
- 5 or 6 cooked tomatoes
- 1 garlic and a pinch of oregano
- Sour cream
- Cotija (dried) cheese, shredded
- Salt and sugar
- 2 liters corn oil
Cook tomatoes with a clove of garlic, blend and add oregano with a pinch of salt and sugar. Tortillas made the same day will be easier to roll up.
Roll up the tortillas with meat inside and fry one by one in very hot oil so they become crunchy. Serve with chopped lettuce, (first washed and sanitized) and shredded cheese. Garnish with your choice of spicy salsa.
